get a manicure, were classy and sophisticated clothing, but make sure you have your own style, not just copied because hair people are often creative. do your hair perfect, just dont put too much hairspray in because then youll smelll. Makeup is great but keep it simple and pretty.

Try to match the attitude of the place you are interviewing. If it is a really polished high class establishment dress that way. Dark pressed slacks, button up shirt (pin striped or colored, not white or you look like a waitress), nice cardigan. If it is a really hip place dress like that, if it a really funky place dress like that. Try to dress a little nicer than the employees that are working there, if they all have on tattered jeans and band tees, go for nice denim slacks and a kind of funky top, but not a tee. With salons there are a lot of different ways they can go depending on the environment the owner/manager is trying to create for the clients.

Good luck on your interview! Be confident and try not to say ';um'; a lot, I always do that, lol.

I work for Regis and they are looking for everything. So, I would wear dress slacks and a really nice sweater. You need to focus more on your hair! They expect you to have great hair! Your make-up hopefully won't be to dark! But nice!
I think you should try to look your very best and outshine everyone there.
