when you start off only go ten minutes at a time, and as your skin gets used to it, then start going for longer...NEVER go when you are burt, wait at least 2 days before going back for some more.
make sure you roll to your side every 5 minutes for 5 minutes so your sides dont stay white.
use sun lotion, they have some at teh salons to buy or to barrow...

Do not use a tanning salon! They're called cancer coffins for a reason! They give you skin cancer, and that's no myth! They're VERY DANGEROUS!! The sun is the thing you should tan yourself with, and remember to put on sunblock! Or you'll get skin cancer from sunburn!
